Ponderize

In General Conference a few weeks ago, there was a talk called "My Heart Pondereth Continually" by First Counselor in the Sunday School General Presidency Devin G. Durrant. In it, we were challenged to "Ponderize" a new verse of scripture each week. The promise was made that "As you make this effort, you will feel an increase in spirituality. You will also be able to teach and lift those you love in more meaningful ways."

That really struck me. I could do with an increase in spirituality, and to be able to teach and lift those I love in more meaningful ways. :)

Brother Durrant told how a young neighbor put a verse on the homescreen of his phone, and I loved that! Ponderizing isn't supposed to replace scripture study, but if I add searching for a new verse in my daily scripture study, and then spend some time dressing it up, I'll also have something pretty AND meaningful to look at on my phone :) yay!

This week, I felt drawn to Psalms 37:3 & 16
"Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked."
I designed these using the online Studio with Heritage Makers. I started off with a fall-themed background, but I myself am not crazy about browns, so I switched it out. But I had already done it, so I saved it before I changed it all up :) Maybe somebody else can use it.

Since I'm already making something pretty, I figured I'd share :) Feel free to use my ponderizing phone wallpapers! And I would love comments if you have a favourite verse that you would like to see dolled up for your phone!
