Lydia is 9 months old!

Our little chublette is 3 quarters of a year old! I cannot even believe it!

At 9 months of age, Lydia:
  • can pull herself to standing
  • has long, straight dark hair
  • has almond-shaped eyes, still of indeterminate color
  • can crawl like a pro
  • can go from crawling to sitting to KNEELING all by herself!
  • likes to say Bbbbbb and Ppppp and blow raspberries and make all kinds of funny noises with her mouth
  • sleeps through the night, ALL through the night!
  • will eat anything we give her, including lasagna :)
  • likes books, loves to read already!
  • can go up the stairs, she just went up her first 3 stairs all by herself the other day (we were spotting her, do not worry!)
  • has found her voice and can be really LOUD!
  • thinks it is hilarious when Gabby growls and chases her
  • likes to bonk heads to say I love you
  • pinches like a scorpion
  • likes to pull on Paul's chest hair :)
  • has the wrinkliest smile, and smiles a lot if you give her any kind of attention :)
  • favors toys that make a lot of noise (ahem, I mean musical toys)
  • has conversations with Daddy of great seriousness.
  • dances when Mommy sings, waving her arms around to try and do the same motions that Gabby does.
  • sometimes makes high squeaky noises like somebody is letting the air out of her. She does this without moving her face at all, so it really does seem like... somebody is letting the air out of her :)
  • crawls quietly up to Mommy when she needs something (hungry, dirty diaper, sleepy, etc) and doesn't whine or anything, just keeps following Mommy and trying to crawl up her leg until Mommy notices. If Mommy does NOT notice and repeatedly walks away, that is when the whining starts!

Lydia is just the sweetest, easiest baby, and she adds so much happiness to our family! We love her so much!

    2. She's a cute one that's for sure! SHe's changed so much even since I was there last. Can you kindly tell her Auntie Tiffy says to stop growing too fast- at least for a bit until I get there the next time :)
