3 months old

Today, Gabriella Claire is officially 3 months old!

At 3 months, Gabby:
~ is 13 lbs, 2 oz.
~ is 24 3/4" long.
~ usually sleeps soundly from about 10pm until 6 or 7am.
~ loves staring at the ceiling light in her (or any other) room, whether it is on or off.

~ is completely breast-fed, but if I pump, she'll also take a bottle.
~ can successfully get both arms out of her swaddle each night, but still sleeps best when she's wrapped up.
~ doesn't spit up nearly as much as she did as a newborn.
~ still has blue eyes and golden hair.
~ has hair that curls when it gets wet or sweaty.
~ can sit up on her own if she is propped up, like in the corner of a couch.
~ slams her bottom lip out if she doesn't get her way. ("Tragic Face")
~ smiles when she sees Mommmy or Daddy, or another familiar face.
~ is very good at tummy time, but prefers to be held.
~ love kicking her legs, and has begun to try and do sit-ups from laying down.
~ has begun trying every day to fit her entire fist into her mouth.
~ will not accept a binkie unless she's "asked" for it. Otherwise, she yells :)
~ is starting to notice her hands more and more.
~ has begun having "poops up the back"
~ is wearing outfits by day, sleepers by night.
~ is rocked to sleep, but sleeps in her own bed, in her own room.
~ was declared by the pediatrician to be "very strong for her age!"
~ likes standing up, supporting all of her weight on her legs (with help, of course!) and has been doing so for a long time now.

~ enjoys having conversations of cooing and gurgling.
~ tries really hard to imitate - she'll copy the vowel sounds of "hello!" and "hi!" and will say "agah!" after "again" and tries to copy Daddy's playful growling in her throat. not just once or twice, but repetetively.
~ likes to play "so big-so boom!" and "kung-fu kicking baby".
~ is scared of how loud the blender is.
~ is starting to notice splashing in the bath.
~ wakes up happy and kicking each morning.
~ is on a 3-3 1/2 hr routine of "eat, play, sleep".
~ loves staring at the brightly colored soft blocks from Auntie Erica.
~ can almost hold onto the teething rattle from Gwamma.
~ looks too adorable for her own good in bows from Auntie Jo-Jo.
~ will kick in rhythm to the music of her baby gym.
~ is content to quietly observe her surroundings.
~ will yell and fake cry more than she actually cries.
~ laughs and smiles more for her Daddy than for anybody else.
~ calms down the easiest for Mommy if she's upset.

~ is "Momma's Little Mookin" and "Daddy's Oobidy-Goobidy" (it just happened, not sure why!)
