back-blogging notes!

I don't want to miss anything, but I've already missed lots :)

Some big news - I'm a new Heritage Maker's Consultant! this is all BRAND NEW so I don't actually know anything yet, but eventually I'll hopefully be able to answer all your questions about digital storybooking, and I am very very excited :)

Gabby got her first haircut :) I need to post pictures! but those are on the other computer, so they'll have to wait. Her hair was just getting so scraggly, and when I realized it was long enough to get into her eyes... well, that's just not attractive anymore. Plus, it got greasy so much faster. so I cut it. It's a little bit crooked in the back, but for the most part, considering that she kept whipping her head around to try and see me, I think I did a pretty dang good job!

Also, she got her first shower :) she had MASSIVE poop blow out. up to her shoulders. It was Paul's turn for diaper duty :D but I took pity on him and helped him get her undressed, and we determined that since the undressing process got poop on her elbows and neck, that we just needed to hose her down. The diaper came off in the tub, and thankfully we have a showerhead with a hose, so she got a little shower. She didn't seem to mind it. I think this was one of those occasions where some of you would have run for your camera... but alas, I wasn't thinking along those lines.

Last week, Gabby was Mommy-clingy. as in, I'd leave to go and do some cleaning in the building, and in the 20 minutes I was gone, Gabby decided she absolutely couldn't do without me, and would scream and scream for Paul. And then as soon as I'd walk through the door, she'd be all smiles again. Poor Daddy.

Friday, we took a chance and Paul and Gabby went and hung out at Gwamma and Gwampa's, and I went to a meeting to learn more about Heritage Maker's. She was fine! So this afternoon, we're trying again, and Gwamma is going to babysit while Mommy and Daddy go on their very first post-baby date. I think we're going to see Confessions of a Shopaholic, and I am very excited, because I loved the book. Own the book. Have read the book a few times. I hope Gabby and Gwamma have fun! and Thanks for Babysitting, Gwamma!
